Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Minnesota
  • At least 2 years of Assisted Living or Long Term Care experience, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Customer service oriented, and servant leadership mentality.

Executive Director (NHA, RCFE)

Executive Director - Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) / Life Plan Community

We have an opportunity for a seasoned Executive Director for a beautiful CCRC located in Los Angeles County. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years ED/LNHA experience serving Seniors, and those requiring additional assistance. This person will also have a history of strong survey results, good tenure, and a passion to provide excellent care and customer service to the residents. The ED is responsible for the day-to-day functions of the community in accordance with applicable company, federal, state, and local standards to ensure the highest quality care and customer service is provided to its residents at all times.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Plans, develops, organizes, evaluates and implements the programs and activities serving the residents. Manages subordinate supervisors, as well as additional employees and volunteers in the Healthcare Center.
  • Ensures adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as State and Federal standards and regulations for employees, residents, family members, visitors, and government agencies.
  • Works collaboratively with the community’s department managers to ensure that the residents are receiving the best possible care at all times.
  • Assists with the budget development and adherence, as well as accurate forecasting of expenses and cost control. Ensures that adequate financial records and reports are prepared and submitted to corporate as required.
  • Ensures that an adequate number of appropriately trained professional and auxiliary personnel are on duty at all times to meet the needs of the residents.
  • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation for the Health Centers and the campus.
  • Facilitates interviewing, hiring, and training employees; teaching, mentoring and directing work; performance appraisals, rewards and recognition, disciplining employees, and addressing complaints, and resolving conflict.

Educational Requirements, Experience and Compensation Package :

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited college/university in health care/business administration or related field. Masters Degree preferred.
  • Three (3) plus years experience as an Executive Director or Administrator in a retirement community (CCRC or Life Plan Community), including Skilled Nursing (SNF), Assisted Living, Memory Care and Independent Living.
  • LNFA/LNHA - Must be a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in CA or have the ability to obtain licensure. RCFE a plus.

Director of Nursing (DON)

Director of Nursing position in Seattle, WA - 5 star rated facility!!!

We are currently accepting applications for a Director of Nursing (DON / DNS). This position is with a very reputable and high-end Senior Care community located in the greater Seattle area. The Director of Nursing needs to possess the leadership ability to manage the Skilled Nursing department, while ensuring that the best possible care and services are provided for the residents. Key responsibilities include leading, mentoring, and providing oversight for the care team, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as State and Federal regulations. Must have a demonstrated history of excellent survey results, good tenure, a hospitality mindset, as well as a customer service focused approach to care. Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WA with a current license, and have at least 3 years of experience working in geriatrics as a DON or ADON. Previous Director of Nursing experience in a SNF is strongly preferred.

Job Type:Full-time

Required experience: 3 years as a supervisor or manager in a geriatric setting, as well as 2 year as a DON / DNS in a Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing setting strongly preferred.

Required education, license or certification: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Registered Nurse for the State of WA required.
